We've got the degrees....

" We've got the degrees…."  
(In memories of the convocation days….)

We've got the degrees….at last !
Feeling happy and great
And today we could walk proudly
Uplifting, uphold the self integrity. 
Waiting anxiously and feeling restless
From the early morn till noon and eve
To receive the scroll, preciously
After years of hard works and struggling.
And the ceremony began
The vast, gigantic hall turned into silence
And the heart beats began pumping swiftly
Drumming the happiness and joys
I could feel !

We've got the degrees….at last !
The sound of congratulation moisture the air
Hugging friends firmly, warmly and freely
Hold our hands tenderly, and togetherness
We could feel and care 
A sign of happiness moisture the air !
Holding flowers and gifts smilingly
And taking pictures, posting nicely
As a remembrance and memories
Of the great occasion !
But deep inside the heart, I cried silently
As my daddy had passed away
And didn't have the opportunity  
To celebrate It !

We've got the degrees….at last !
And I attended my daughter's convocation
And I could feel the same atmospheres too
Celebrating the wonderful occasion together
As my daddy hadn't have the chance before !
Though tiredness bothering us
But happiness , showering us greatly
To be patient, calm and cool !
And surely, we're happy 
As her fiancee, receiving the scroll too !

We've got the degrees….at last !
And I attended my son's convocation
And I could feel the same atmospheres too
Celebrating the wonderful occasion together
As my daddy hadn't have the chance before !
Though I'd to spend much money
But happiness, waving us greatly
To celebrate the occasion 
And holidaying together !
You've make me a proud daddy
Excel in education, and active in sports 
Contributing something marvelously
To states and country !

We've got the degrees….at last !
And achieved our ambitions' greatly
To enhance knowledge 
And be a skillful worker hopefully!
And surely, I'll frame the photos nicely
And hanging them on the wall of our home
As a remembrance and memories
The hardships and struggles 
We'd encountered and face !
